“Mother Nature” is born from a part of the trunk of a tree that has been struck by the flood in the Belluno area in October 2018.
The statue turns one hand to the sky and stretches the other towards the man. “Nature offers so much wonder but asks for respect as well. As benevolent as destructive: even when it upsets the earth it is teaching us something”.
A hymn to life and to not to give up in the face of suffering and unforeseen events; an invitation to respect the environment and nature in all its forms.
