A young girl, on learning some bad news, was crying, and her sadness inspired the artist to depict her as a mermaid sitting on a rock.
A heart wounded by the attack that took place in Barcelona on that day of August 17th.

“…in witnessing that emotion, I caught a glimpse of something else, of a heart that had been wounded not only by that tragic event, but also by love”.

This is the representation of her body, with particular attention to her legs, from which a slender metallic wire rises up. The heart, symbol of passion, which dangles from it, portrays a hidden wish, a dream she carries within her own heart.
